  • ELIGIBILITY
    Korg UK LTD (Exclusive distributor of VOX in the UK/EIRE) competitions are open to any legal resident of the United Kingdom & Ireland. Employees, officers, directors and agents of Korg UK, all of its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliate companies, licensees, suppliers, distributors, retailers, advertising/promotional agencies, advertisers, and members of the immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live) and/or residents in the same household (whether related or not) of such employees, officers, directors and agents are not eligible. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules which are binding in all respects.
  • COMPETITION PERIOD
    The competition period begins on Aug 15th 2007 and ends Oct 15th 2007.
  • ENTRY
    All entries become the property of Korg UK LTD. Entrants agree to publication and/or display of their names, addresses (limited to city/county), likenesses, voices, portraits, and/or photographs (without further compensation where lawful).

    TO ENTER
    Video entries demonstrating up to 5 minutes of your band in action should be submitted on digital or analogue formats, posted to the address listed below. Posted entries will be accepted on DVD, CR-ROM or VHS formats. All participants must download and complete the entry form and supply with a photograph, personal details, contact details and a brief description of your band to the below address:

    All entries must be submitted by 15th October 2007. Entries submitted after this date will not be accepted into the competition.
  • By entering into the competition, you accept and agree to be bound by the Official Rules and by the decision of Korg UK LTD., which shall be final and binding in all respects.
  • JUDGEMENT
    The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from all five finalist entries received as set forth above, under the supervision of Korg, UK LTD whose decision will be final. The judgement will take place at the Music Live show on the weekend of 2nd - 4th Nov 2007.
  • PRIZE
    At the end of the competition period, the top 5 finalists will have an exclusive opportunity to perform on stage before a panel of judges at Music Live at the Birmingham NEC in November. All 5 bands will also be featured in Total Guitar magazine and on the Vox website.
    The prize to be awarded in connection with the competition is:

    VOX GOODY BAGS
    The Prize is non-transferrable, has no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash. No substitution for the Prize is permitted, except by Korg UK LTD who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the featured prize becomes unavailable.
  • GENERAL CONDITIONS
    By accepting the Prize, winner agrees to release Korg UK LTD, its parent, subsidiary and affiliate companies, officers, directors, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, injuries, actions or proceedings arising out of and/or sustained in connection with use, acceptance or possession of the Prize. Korg UK LTD makes no warranties with regard to the Prize. Korg UK LTD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the competition; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; Korg UK LTD is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information.

 

VOX UNSIGNED BAND OF 2007 CALL FOR ENTRIES! The submission deadline is 15th October 2007. The winning Vox Unsigned band of 2007 will receive a brand new Vox AD100VT/XL amp plus a days all expenses paid recording session at a top London studio.
