| The Escort 50 was available in both Lead and Bass 50 watt models and were improved versions of the ealier CBS Escort 30 combos. The Climax was a reworked version of the V125 valve head. A 125 watt before distortion model with twin 12 inch speakers. It also had active Eq and a valve overdrive control. |  |

| Through out the later part of the 1980's the AC30 was available in two models, one with reverb and one with out. This model is characterised by the grey control panel and illuminated rocker switches. The speaker grill was a black variant of the diamond pattern design and the vinyl covering had a very rugged almost "buffalo hide" look far removed from the tradition basket weave. The heat vents were enlarged and made of plastic and the speakers were Celestion G12-75T models |  |
